This Week’s Verses
1 Peter 3:14–17 (ESV)
But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.

Revelation 12:11 (ESV)
And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.

This Week’s Prayer
Father, thank You for Your incredible love for us. Thank You for knowing exactly how each day will turn out. We put our trust in You. Jesus, thank You for being willing to take on human form, suffer the hatred and human scorn while coming to save us from our sins. Holy Spirit, work in me to live a life that testifies of the amazing truth of the gospel. Work through me to bring other people into a saving knowledge of Jesus. Oh God, be glorified even when people treat me badly because of my testimony and my life, which is dedicated to the truth of Your word.
