Loving Judgment

What is the context of Romans 14?

1 Thessalonians 5:14 (ESV)
And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.

In Romans 14:10, what are the two ways Paul tells us believers will be judged?

What are the 5 coming judgments?

What is NOT determined at the judgment seat of Christ?

Why won’t believers be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment?

What is the commandment of John 13:34?

Why is it possible for believers to love one another?

What are two practical ways believers manifest love for each other?

This Week’s Verse
Matthew 7:1–5 (ESV)
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

This Week’s Prayer
Oh God, thank You for Your perfect love for us. Thank You for the forgiveness which You extend to us even though we continue to sin. Jesus, I thank You for the incredible sacrifice You made to cleanse me of my sins. I am overwhelmed by the love You show as I continually do war against my sin nature. Holy Spirit, help me to forgive others because I remember how God has forgiven me. Help me to not lose sight of how desperately I am in need of forgiveness and how God never uses my past sins against me. Oh God, may you be glorified as I intentionally forgive others and love my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
