Genesis 18:12–14 (ESV)
So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, “After I am worn out, and my lord is old, shall I have pleasure?” The Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.”

This Week's Prayer
Father, thank You for always having the plan to bring the Savior to the world. Father, thank You for revealing to us how we can be pleasing to You by trusting in the sacrifice of Jesus. Holy Spirit, teach us to trust God’s plans and His word, so we grow in our faith. Help us when it seems like life is not working out the way we want. Jesus, thank You that no matter how difficult this life is we have the promise of a future in heaven because of Your sacrifice on the cross.
