What is it like at FBC?

We are an imperfect family of sinners saved by grace who love to get together and fellowship! Sunday School for all ages (infant to adult) is offered from 10:00 a.m. -- 11:00 a.m.   We begin each worship service (1st Service at 9:00 a.m. 2nd Service at 11:15 a.m.) with praise and worship.  We have anything from flutes and violins to drums and bass guitar on stage.  We worship with a mix of contemporary and hymns. Occassionally the Youth Group will lead worship!  Communion is offered usually the first Sunday of the month.  Our two Pastors bring the word of God in a clear and easy-to-understand way.  We close with a song and many tend to mingle and visit some more!

What about my kids?

There is a staffed nursery for infants to 3-year olds during the worship service as well as a nursing room for nursing moms where she can watch the service.  There are Sunday School classes for infant to going into 12th grade.   During the Worship Service after the pastor dismisses the children, they go downstairs for Jr. Church where the Bible comes alive!  We are a child-friendly space and don't mind a bit of baby noise!  Wednesday night Youth Group is split into 2 groups. The Genesis Project (Middle School) meet from 5:30 to 7:00.  The Exodus Project (High School) meet from 6:30 to 8:30.  Dinner for all groups is served at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall.  Each year, usually in June, we offer a week-long Vacation Bible School and we have a very big Halloween Alternative Event that is just for the kids.  It is our goal to keep them safe on October 31st!

What do I wear?

Wear what you are comfortable to worship the Lord in.

How do I get connected?

There are several ways to get connected: 1) Small Groups meet weekly  2) Adult Bible Studies and 3) Adult Sunday School Classes.  FBC is a very friendly and welcoming church.  Once you are comfortable, there are many ministries that need hands and hearts!  You will be able to find a spot where God can use your gifts.

Where do I park?

There are two parking lots - one to the south and one to the east. There are handicapped parking spaces right by the back door which is an accessible entrance.

Is the building accessible?

Yes!  The wheelchair accessible door is off the alley and there is handicapped parking right there.  We have an automatic door at the ramped entrance and also a lift inside to allow access to both floors of our building. There are men's and women's bathrooms on each floor that accommodate large wheelchairs.
