James 1:22–23 (ESV)

This Week's Prayer
Father, forgive me when I choose to be disobedient to Your leading to do the works You have called me to do. Jesus, thank You for placing me into the body of Christ by the work of Your sacrificial death. I desire to please You by serving the body in every way possible as You direct. Holy Spirit, give me guidance strength and understanding so I may serve the body of Christ well. Teach me to humbly use the gifts You have given so the body of Christ will be edified and Christ will be glorified. Oh God, I make myself available to You. Use me as You direct.

For next week look at: James 2:14-26 and Romans 12:3-8.
