God is Our Righteousness and Our Sanctification 

1 Corinthians 1-11

Jeremiah 23:6 (ESV)
In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: ‘The Lord is our ______________________.’

What does righteousness mean?

 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

This Week’s Prayer
Father, give me a new understanding of Your work on the cross, and allow that understanding to train me up to be more like You. Wash me and sanctify me. Amen
