The Heart-to-Heart Team (Jennie Strock, Darlene Lesco and Heather Reese) 
prayerfully matches women together from the info on their profile cards.

Bread of Life Ministry
Women and men a like my choose to participate in this ministry.  When a need arises 
for a family to have meals provided for them this is coordinated through the church 
office. Those involved in this ministry will be contacted to provide the meal.  
Along with providing food, you also would bring words of encouragement and prayer.
Sign up for this ministry by contacted Team Leaders Deb Ramsey (358-9707) 
or Liz Ostrander (358-1189).

Wedding and Baby Shower Ministry
Team Leader: Becky Kleemeyer
Those connected with the church are given a basket of gifts for a wedding or the birth of a child.  This ministry is budgeted for, however, donations are always appreciated.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
This group meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. in the 
Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church (During the School Year)

Dorcas Dinner
A fantastic annual event which ministers to widows, young and old, in Douglas.
This year's Dorcas Dinner will be October 24 at 6:00 p.m.  All widows from Douglas are invited 
to this evening event.  Speaker, food and fellowship provided.  If you are interested 
in helping with this event call Margie Langston at 358-4744.

Funeral Dinners
A dinner, or just coffee and cookies, is provided for the family of the deceased.  
They are served and loved by those preparing the meal.  This is a gift to anyone, 
whether a member of FBC or not.  Help is always needed for these events. Contact 
Margie Langston at 358-4744 if you'd like to help anytime with Funeral Dinners.
